Welcome to my bouzouki page. I am Elias Broufas, a player and luthier of bouzoukis and guitars. I have been a working musician for over 30 years. My love for playing and appreciating acoustic instruments has led me to become a maker of Greek bouzoukis and acoustic guitars. Many years of playing experience has given me great understanding to the needs of working musicians such as: sound, feel, intonation, action, overall construction and musical dynamics.Over the past 20 years i have studied the building methods of many well known bouzouki luthiers by repairing several bouzoukis.
